Cancellation Policy

Here at Karen’s Remedial Massage Therapy, appointment times have been specifically arranged for you at the time you requested. Whilst I understand that family, work and life pressures can sometimes mean that you need to cancel your appointment, please understand that when you cancel an appointment at short notice there is little chance of that appointment being offered to someone else. Prompt communication of your inability to attend your appointment will allow your appointment to be offered to someone else.
 
Appointment reminders are sent at these intervals so you can reschedule/cancel your appointment in a timely manner:
 
48 hours before appointment: Email reminder
24 hours before appointment: Text message reminder

Late arrivals and late cancellation of your appointment will incur the full fee of your appointment being charged.

Late Arrivals

I am committed to providing the best treatment I can. I set aside the time for
your appointment so that you can receive the best treatment possible.

If you are going to be late for your scheduled appointment time, please contact me as soon as possible to let me know.
​
If you are late to your appointment, the appointment time will conclude at the
scheduled time, with the full fee being charged.
​
Where possible the appointment time will be extended if time allows.

Cancellations

  • 24 hours’ notice is required for appointment cancellations

  • Full treatment fee may be charged if less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation ofyour appointment

Cancellation due to sickness

I understand that you may need to cancel your appointment due to illness.
If you are genuinely cancelling due to illness, no fee will be charged.
